The Smart Health Approach V 3.0 goes live.
The third major release of the leading
shared Electronic Health Record solution
goes live this month. This release has
been under development for almost twelve
months and incorporates significant new
features including interfacing to doctors
existing in practice systems, support
for all diagnostic services, hospital
admission and discharge formats and new
Java based architecture . Future releases
will provide HCP reporting, image hosting
and retrieval and new doctor alert features.

Telstra and Smart Health Solutions have
signed an agreement to implement a unique
Broadband service application that will
allow medical images to be transmitted
and securely hosted for authorised doctors
to access on demand independent of physical
location. This is an Australian first
meeting privacy and security requirements
and complies with the Commonwealth Government

Telstra
and Smart Health have revamped their original
Business Development Agreement and the
parties have signed a preferred supplier
agreement to work on shared Electronic
Health Record Solutions across Australia.
Telstra iTrust smart card and PKI technologies
have been integrated into Smart Health
products. Telstra and Smart Health are
working on a number of different projects
across Australia.
